Our Lady of Guadalupe - Baroque Home Altar commemorates one of the most important Marian apparitions in Christian history. In December 1531, the Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill near present-day Mexico City.
As proof of her presence, Mary miraculously left her image on Juan Diego's cloak, the famous Tilma of Guadalupe, which is still preserved and venerated today. This event played a major role in the spread of Christianity throughout the Americas.
