The Horse is an elegant wooden figure from the Bergland Nativity, particularly suited for enriching the scene depicting the journey of the Three Kings to Bethlehem.
In traditional Nativity scenes, the horse can accompany the Three Kings and their entourage together with camels, elephants and other animals of the procession. Its presence brings movement to the composition and helps evoke the long journey undertaken by the Magi to reach Baby Jesus.
The horse has long been associated with strength, elegance, nobility and travel. Within the Christmas Nativity scene, it enriches the landscape and adds a dynamic element that harmonizes beautifully with the Three Kings and their attendants.
It can be displayed as an individual figure or combined with the King riding a horse and other figures from the same series to create an evocative procession of the Three Kings travelling toward the Nativity.
All figures within the same Bergland Nativity series are proportioned to one another, allowing the Nativity scene to be gradually expanded while maintaining harmonious proportions between the different figures. This model is supplied without a base.
Crafted according to the traditional woodcarving heritage of the Val Gardena - Dolomites, the Horse is available in different sizes and artistic finishes depending on the selected version.
