Elephant for the Nativity Scene

The Elephant is a distinctive wooden figure from the Bergland Nativity, designed to enrich the scene depicting the journey of the Three Kings to Bethlehem and to create an evocative setting inspired by the East.

In traditional Nativity scenes, the elephant is often included in the entourage of the Three Kings, together with camels, horses and other figures of the procession. Its presence adds variety and visual impact while recalling the long journey undertaken by the Magi to reach Baby Jesus.

The elephant also evokes strength, dignity and majesty. Its powerful form creates an attractive contrast with the human figures and adds depth and movement to the Nativity composition.

It can be displayed as an individual figure or combined with other characters and accessories associated with the procession of the Magi, creating a rich scene accompanying the Three Kings on their journey toward the Nativity.

All figures within the same Bergland Nativity series are proportioned to one another, making it possible to gradually expand the Nativity scene while maintaining harmonious proportions between the different figures.

Crafted according to the traditional woodcarving heritage of the Val Gardena - Dolomites, the Elephant is available in different sizes and artistic finishes depending on the selected version.
