This unique collection of wooden masks is inspired by the Commedia dell’Arte, the Italian theatrical form born in the 16th century. Known for its stock characters and improvised humor, it shaped the history of European theatre.
Featured characters include Pulcinella, Harlequin, Columbina, Pantalone, Brighella, the Doctor and the Captain, along with a beautifully carved wooden sun. Each mask is hand-carved in maple or linden wood, true to the Val Gardena tradition. Made in Italy.
